When you scrap your car with one of our scrap buyers, you’ll be issued with a Certificate of Destruction from the Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF) that they use to scrap your vehicle. This document is nothing fancy it just basically lets the DVLA know that your car has reached the end of its life and no longer needs to be taxed. We’re a big fan of getting everything out in the open and that includes everything to do with your scrap offers too. Once you’ve retrieved your list of scrap offers, you’ll be able to see all the information relating to each of your offers, any fees that might be payable, nothing will go hidden. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting before you’ve accepted an offer.

Your personal details are private, we get that. That’s why we no longer require you to submit them in order to retrieve your scrap valuation. We want you to feel comfortable in giving them to us, which is why we don’t ask for them until you’ve accepted an offer. Once you have, we’ll use your personal info to put you in touch with your chosen scrap buyer and that’s it. Simple as that.
